DIABETIC SCREENING AND HEALTH PROMOTION DAY

The last one  was held on Saturday 29th October. 2005

First of all, many thanks to all those who attended and gave their support to this worthwhile exercise.

There were 120 screenings completed during which we found two new diabetics and ten people with high blood pressure.

The next one was scheduled for June 2006 but has been postponed till later in the year.

London Walthamstow Lions club have purchased 10 books on Diabetes to be donated to Whipps Cross Hospital and local GP’s
